Squizzy takes his second "Skip's Race".

The third running of "Skip's Race took place at Avalon on the 8th December under darkening skies that threatened to rain out the meeting.

However luck was on the good side for a change and the meeting went through to the end with only a very light misty shower to contend with throughout the night.

The four heats were won by Justin McMinn, Nick Parker, Travis Mills & Ashley Booker that resulted in a 20 lap feature grid of Mills, McMinn, Parker, Booker, Wallis, Jordan, Whiting, Nankiville, Paul, Shaw, Patton, C Smith, Stanley, Lostitch, Rodrigeuz, Caleb Mills.

Squizzy initially led the way from Parker & McMinn, Wallis, Whiting until mid race yellow came out after a spin in turn 2, at the restart it was the same order with Whiting who had gotten past McMinn now staking a claim to second place from Parker but his efforts came unstuck one lap later when he caused another yellow after spinning in turn 2.

With 5 to go it was Travis Mills, Nick Parker, Justin McMinn, Adam Wallis, Justin Paul & Glen Shaw now closing in on the top 5, the race was declared with 3 to go when another yellow came on after rookie Louis Rodrigeuz spun it in turn 2 .

This resulted in the final placings of Mills,Parker,McMinn,Wallis,Shaw & Paull.

Flux was on hand to present the trophies to the placegetters with the unique laser cut trophies for the event with all competitors receiving a smaller version of the trophy.
